About

Kappa Phi Delta is the oldest sorority on campus and the first organization of women accepted into Illinois Tech Greek Council. It is also one of the oldest local sororities in the nation. Kappa Phi Delta holds the highest grade point average among all of the Greek organizations.

Our Purposes

  1. To promote friendship and love within the sorority

  2. To develop dependability, cooperation and tactfulness

  3. To promote intellectual accomplishment and scholarship

The women of Kappa Phi Delta recognize the absolute importance of a well rounded college experience that will allow for a smooth transition into the real world. Sisters not only focus on the academic aspect of college, but on cultivating skills that will be useful throughout life, such as time management, public speaking, teamwork, and leadership.

Kappa Phi Delta's affiliate program includes seminars on time management, successful goal setting, and other valuable topics. To strengthen the academic of sisters, Kappa also has scholastic events to encourage one another, in-chapter tutors, and quiet hours set aside to foster a productive study environment in the house.

Sorority House

Kappa Phi Delta Chapter House is located on the northeast corner of the Illinois Tech Quad. The house is not only a home for most of our sisters, but a meeting place, retreat, and strong community helping to bring sisters closer together.
